Welcome to the blog! I will periodically write about happenings and such on the place, post pictures, and sometimes just yap about things that interest me.
Right now kidding is around the corner, and things are in a hussle to get kidding pens built. The barn is in a state of suspension until money comes in to get it done. I have grand plans with electricity, heated automatic waters, and a storage room with sink, fridge, and heat/a/c. But who knows how far we'll get. :oP.
The winter has been the worst one in years. We have about 3' of snow. The cold, and worms has taken care of culling 2/3rds of my herd. Basically a catastrophy, but I'm looking on the bright side. We took care of the worms, and discovered an inexpensive preventative (naturally!), the weather is warming, snow melting, and kids are due soon.
Plans are underway for new pastures, grazing opportunities, and making things more efficient! Stay tuned!
Website work has been keeping me busy, and looks to stay that way for a while.
